Growing up I can remember my mom always reaching for tea whenever we started to feel sick. I haven’t always been a big tea drinker but I do find myself reaching for a cup when I’m under the weather, have a stomach ache, or just need something comforting before bed.

Tea has so many benefits, and lately I’ve been trying to incorporate it into my daily routine a bit more. Naturally, I wanted to share a few of my favorite caffeine-free teas that I always keep stocked and truly swear by.
Chamomile
Chamomile has been a family favorite for years. It was my mom’s go-to whenever any of us had a belly ache, and to this day, I always keep it in my pantry. It’s rich in antioxidants and known for soothing an upset stomach. I love that it’s calming without being overly drowsy, making it perfect any time of day when you need to unwind.
Ginger
By now, you’ve probably heard about all the benefits of ginger. From supporting digestion to helping with inflammation and immune health, it’s such a powerhouse. I enjoy raw ginger shots, but sometimes fresh ginger can be a bit too spicy for me. Ginger tea is a gentler alternative that I reach for often, especially when I’m feeling bloated, run down, or dealing with a lingering cough.
Hibiscus
People have enjoyed hibiscus tea around the world for years. It’s one of my favorite teas to sip over ice during the summer. I love it with a little honey since it’s naturally tart, and it’s just as good iced as it is hot. It’s packed with antioxidants that help fight free radicals and is often enjoyed for its potential heart and liver-supporting benefits. Refreshing and vibrant, it’s my go-to when I want something a little different.
Peppermint
I reach for peppermint tea often, especially when I’m feeling bloated or just want something soothing after a meal. Beyond the fresh, comforting flavor, peppermint supports digestion, boosts the immune system and help ease tension. The menthol in peppermint can also act as a natural muscle relaxant, which makes it such a comforting choice.
I hope you find some of my favorite caffeine-free teas helpful in your daily routine. Oh, and if you’re wondering how I take my tea, I usually drink it plain to enjoy the natural flavors. When I’m in the mood for something a little sweeter, a touch of honey does the trick.
How often do you enjoy a cup of tea? I’d love to know your favorite.
