Well hello, spring. I’m loving the warmer weather and feeling the sunshine on my skin again. With more time spent outdoors and more skin exposed to the elements; it’s the perfect moment to refresh our skincare routines. And really, who doesn’t want glowing skin?
I get asked often about what I use on my skin, so I’m sharing a few of my favorite spring skincare staples. For reference, my skin tends to be combination in late spring and throughout summer, but most of these products work beautifully across all skin types.
Sulwhasoo
When it comes to cleansing, I gravitate toward products that feel luxurious and deliver real results and Sulwhasoo does exactly that. Their skincare philosophy centers on balance and nourishment, which my skin responds to so well.
The Cleansing Oil melts away makeup in seconds while keeping my skin hydrated and smooth, even before I move on to my second cleanse.
The Gentle Cleanser is another must-have. It has a soft, herbal, spa-like scent and foams beautifully. My skin feels clean, fresh, and perfectly balanced afterward, never tight or dry.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
This has been a holy grail product for me for years. It deeply hydrates and nourishes my skin while improving elasticity and firmness and helping soften the look of fine lines. I love how it brightens and evens my complexion, leaving my skin soft, radiant, and resilient against environmental stressors. It also helps my serums absorb effortlessly. A true year-round essential in my routine.
Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Day Serum
This vitamin C has earned a permanent spot in my routine. I started using it during a season when I was spending more time outdoors and wanted extra protection from environmental stressors and I’ve been hooked ever since. It visibly brightens and firms while defending my skin, all without feeling oily or heavy. My complexion always looks fresh, smooth, and glowy. Another staple I use year-round.
La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream
I never thought I’d fall in love with a moisturizer, but here we are. La Mer’s Soft Cream has been a staple in my routine for the past three years. Every application feels indulgent—rich yet airy at the same time. It keeps my skin deeply hydrated and soft without ever feeling greasy. I personally prefer it over the original Crème de la Mer, which feels a bit too thick for my liking, even in winter.
Saint Jane Luxury CBD Serum
If you had told me years ago that I’d be using an oil in my skincare routine, I would’ve been very confused. Now, I can’t imagine my routine without one.
I recently started using Saint Jane’s Luxury CBD Serum, and after a month, I’m officially obsessed. It’s formulated with 20 powerful botanicals, including sea buckthorn, calendula, sandalwood, and rose, that gently resurface and detoxify the skin. The hemp-derived CBD (non-psychoactive, of course) helps calm and balance everything out.
It has a light herbal scent, sinks in beautifully, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I swear my pores even look smaller when I wake up in the morning.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40
Spring and summer call for SPF, but honestly, sunscreen belongs in our routines year-round. I picked up Supergoop!’s Unseen Sunscreen on a whim and ended up loving it.
The texture is completely weightless and velvety, almost like a primer, and it goes on totally invisible. It preps my skin perfectly for makeup while providing broad-spectrum SPF 40 and protection from blue light (yes, the kind from our phones and laptops). It’s ideal for everyday wear but just note that it isn’t waterproof.
Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment
Last but not least, my ride-or-die lip balm: Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment. I’ve tried countless lip products, but nothing compares. I keep one in my bag, one on my nightstand (because I refuse to go to bed with dry lips), and one that always travels with me.
It leaves my lips soft, smooth, and perfectly prepped for any lip color or gloss. Hydrated, healthy lips, always.
As the days get warmer and brighter, these are the skincare staples I keep close. Nothing complicated, just products that feel good, work beautifully, and support healthy, glowing skin. I hope you find a new favorite here.
